Calling for Your Support
ACE Alumni

The following post was written by one of ACE’s outstanding alumni, Chloe Maxmin, showing her love for ACE as we begin our Spring donation drive. Read what other ACE students and alums have to say here.
My name is Chloe Maxmin, and I’m a proud ACE Alumna.
There’s never been a month like this for me before. I organized a divestment rally at Harvard University, Rolling Stone featured me as a green hero, and in the next week or so I’m going to be on Bill Maher, my first time on national television.
This is an exciting moment for me and my opportunity to make a difference, and so it is with ACE. Alumni like me agree.
First and foremost, I want to say thank you. Here’s my ACE story, and how you’ve helped me.
When I first came to my high school, it didn’t have an environmental club. So I founded the Climate Action Club to provide opportunities for my peers to get involved. At the time I didn’t even know that youth activism existed. Starting from scratch and figuring out our leadership, campaign, and group structure was difficult and made it hard to be effective.
ACE helped me develop my skills as a leader and gain access to the resources, coaching, and action network I needed to succeed. Education is the most important tool for any activist, and ACE understands that knowledge is power.
Join me today in putting your support behind your inspiration to do something. Right now, ACE is in 23 states, helping 3,000 leaders like me in making solutions possible — saving energy, waste, and organizing each other to fundamentally change the behaviors that are damaging our planet and climate.
Make a gift to ACE today so we can keep their momentum going, growing strong, and helping more students make the breakthrough that we need for our climate and our future.
