ACE Biggest Loser: Energy Small Schools Winner

Yesterday, we announced the middle school winner for ACE’s Spring 2012 Biggest Loser: Energy competition.
But wait, we have even more winners! Seriously. Today, we’re announcing the Small School winner. (insert drumroll sound effect) This is a $500 prize that goes to the Action Team that shed the most pounds of CO2 at a school which has fewer than 700 students.
And the prize goes to:
The Foshay Learning Center in Southern California!
Foshay’s Action Team, Foshay’s Holding Our Hand, saved their school 8,932 lbs of Co2 and $661 in energy costs in 15 days. And get this: the Action Team only has four members. Wow. That’s pretty awesome.
If they can cut that much power with just four students, we can’t wait to see what they can do on our upcoming fall challenge.
