You never know what you’ll find when you open your email…
Here I am, sitting at my desk, melting under the summer heat and wishing I was on the beach with a cool breeze… I clicked on an email from Cate Arnold, faculty adviser of Boston Latin School‘s Youth Climate Action Network (BLS YouthCAN).
BLS YouthCAN is a sweet Action Team, and winner of one of our national school grants. They’re working on some amazing projects, but I wasn’t prepared for what I found in the email:
Boston Latin School YouthCAN was just featured on NBC’s Today Show!!
These YouthCAN students continue to surprise and amaze me with what they manage to do!
Check out the clip below to learn for yourself what the oldest high school in America is doing with their new green thinking:
I hope it inspires you to keep working in your own community to change the world!
I know it’s made come out of my heat coma and get excited to keep working – and to see you all again next fall!
Until then, keep us updated about your amazing green summer projects and stories on Facebook: www.facebook.com/acespace!
Have a great summer!
