Oil is still gushing into the Gulf of Mexico out of a busted well 5,000 feet below the surface of the ocean. This is the worst oil disaster our country has ever seen. The Gulf’s livelihood, wildlife and health is at stake. What’s more, hurricane season officially began June 1.

We can also feel so incredibly helpless. We’ll be bringing you some ideas on ways you can help in the coming weeks. To start, check out what Mos Def, Lenny Kravitz, the Preservation Hall Band, Trombone Shorty, and Tim Robbins teamed up to record:
