Get to know the ACE Delegates attending COP27! The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP27, is the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference, scheduled to be held in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, between November 6th and November 18th.

Gari De Ramos

Social Media Manager — she/her

Gari De Ramos is ACE’s Social Media Manager. In this role, she cultivates a strong and engaging social media presence across various social media platforms.  Originally from the Philippines and raised in Hong Kong and New York, Gari has seen the effects of climate change all around the world and is excited to use her skills in the fight for climate justice.

Jennifer Gonzalez

Director of Storytelling — she/her

Jennifer is ACE’s Director of Storytelling based in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, she leads ACE’s storytelling work and produces engaging visual content and videos that educate about climate science, tell stories of young people impacted by climate change, and inspire climate action among youth.

Marco Marquez

Midwest Associate Organizing Director – he/him

Marco is the Midwest Associate Organizing Director in Wisconsin where he works to educate, inspire and support youth to become agents and leaders of change in the fight for climate justice. Marco has over 5 years of experience mentoring students of all ages through civic engagement efforts.

Victoria Whalen

Social Media Fellow — she/her

Victoria Whalen was born and raised in Georgia, but has her family ties in Upstate New York. She is a rising law student, attending the University of Oregon and concentrating on Environmental Law. As a Social Media Fellow with ACE, she creates content to communicate the urgency of the climate emergency and works to amplify youth voices across the movement.
