Tara is currently a senior at Strawberry Crest High School, located in Dover, Florida. She is an officer for her school’s theatre troupe, Troupe #7490, and actively participates in thespian festivals as well as other musical theatre opportunities. She has taken vocal and piano lessons since the age of five and enjoys performing in front of any crowd. Tara is apart of the rigorous International Baccalaureate program and intends on studying environmental science at a university. She loves spending time with her dogs, Shaggy and Woody, and her turtle, Lulu, who mostly passes time munching on fruits and vegetables. Growing up surrounded by the beautiful Florida beaches, as well as spontaneous trips to parks and other outdoor activities, has emotionally involved Tara in the ongoing issues of climate change as the devastations have become more apparent in her hometown. Furthermore, empathy towards animals and individuals subjugated to harsher environmental conditions aids in her humanitarian actions as she seeks to be a voice for those experiencing governmental neglect. She is looking forward to meeting other ACE members and working alongside individuals greatly motivated to create a more sustainable, cleaner future. Tara is currently learning Spanish and wishes to fluently speak at least three languages by the age of 24 to be able to travel and understand new cultures, as well as better herself in advocating for national environmental policy.
