Mihir is a junior at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born in Mumbai, and grew up in Canada, before moving to the US. He is involved in Speech and Debate, Model UN, and the Quiz Bowl at his school. He also serves as a leader for the local non-profit Peer2Peer, and through that, works towards improving access to education and resources for under-served youth.

Mihir always saw climate change as a pressing issue, and like many others, was comfortable with the idea that political leaders would eventually step up and address it seriously. He realized that the status quo inherently benefits corporations and politicians who ignore the destruction of our planet, and felt compelled to involve himself in the movement for a sustainable and equitable future. He believes that everyone has an interest in preserving and protecting resources for future generations, and that young people have a duty to advocate for their own future. He is eager to develop his skills and understanding of climate action and is excited to be a part of a dedicated organization like ACE.
