Joe-Allen Nunez wants to be part of a movement that improves the future by expanding alternative means of energy like solar. He joined ACE’s Las Vegas Fellowship to advance toward that vision.
As his high school, Joe-Allen serves as vice-president of his school’s environmental club. His eco club began with the simple act of recycling. From there, it sought ways to accumulate community service hours for college credit, which led to so much more. With the support of his advisor/mentor/teacher Mrs. Rorer, Joe-Allen spearheaded a project to start a school garden and to fund it with grants.
In addition to caring about the environment, Joe-Allen is passionate about becoming an engineer. His hobbies are playing video games and learning how to skateboard.
