Chloe Hanf

Action Fellow Alumni

Las Vegas

Chloe is a senior at West Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she majors in Environmental Science, where she was first exposed to the concept of climate change. From then on, her mind has been enveloped by the dynamics of the issue and the politics behind it.

Deeply compassionate, Chloe has dedicated her life to reducing suffering. She understands reducing climate change would do just that. She is particularly interested in the industry of animal agriculture and its detrimental effects on our environment and, in turn, us. She wishes to raise awareness for this major cause of climate change and address some possible solutions in her time with the Fellowship.

In her free time, Chloe likes to hike, take pictures, do shenanigans with her friends, and take pictures of her friends doing shenanigans. Overall, though, she’s happiest with the simplest joys of life such as stumbling upon a funny-looking tree or being outside when the sun is setting in cotton candy hues. She believes these simple joys should be available to anyone and everyone, and these joys are threatened by climate change. She’s confident in her ability to create change. It’s up to us, the youth, to preserve the joy of our world for generations to come.
