Ana is from Miami, Florida. She attends TERRA Environmental Research Institute with a passion for reform. She’s an active member in both her community and school, as Vice President of FFA, Project Directer of her school’s Social Studies Honor Society, and Publicity Coordinator for Holocaust Impact Theater. She also has a passion for film and writing, which she manifests through several projects, such as AFS’ Project: Change in which she was a semi-finalist. Ana joined the ACE Fellowship because she knew that working with others was the right step towards motivating individuals to create change, especially in a topic which affects her so deeply. In hopes of creating new technology and researching issues of environmentalism, Ana hopes to receive a doctorate in a STEM related field. Through this, she has made it her goal to personally look for solutions to issues such as algal blooms and sea level rising.
