As a “professional tree climber” and wildlife-lover, Alessandra, from Boca Raton, FL, has always been concerned about the environment. It was no surprise when, as soon as she first heard about climate change, she engaged in thorough research about its devastating effects on the planet. Since then, Alessandra has volunteered in many environmental organizations (such as the Youth Environmental Alliance and Terranaut Club). She has also educated other young people about climate change in numerous camps and school clubs with interactive science experiments and presentations, written and shared informative essays on climate change, and has taken her own personal initiatives in combating the global crisis. She envisions a future where renewable energy sources are the norm in a world where technology is advancing faster than ever before. Upon finding ACE, Alessandra pounced on the opportunity to have her voice heard and learn even more about the issue.

Alessandra is a freshman at Saint Andrew’s School, and enjoys painting (both digitally and traditionally), writing poetry and sci fi, creating a variety of videos, short films, and animations, playing tennis, and engaging in small coding projects.
