Digital

ACE is a digital media juggernaut. Our work with young people who live and breathe on social media has positioned ACE as a leader in technology, digital media and strategic communications. ACE deploys a two-pronged approach to reach both inside and outside the climate movement echo chamber to socialize, soften the ground, and accelerate climate solutions: 1) activate youth who are already concerned about climate change but have not yet been invited to take action, and 2) inoculate the millions of Americans the climate movement has left behind who are simultaneously disengaged and targeted by the disinformation machine.

Creator

As a first mover in the creator marketing space, in late 2020, ACE launched a novel Creator Collective program as a direct and rapid response to social media bans on digital advertising during the 2020 presidential election. This nimble and innovative program allowed us to continue to successfully reach millions of young people while shifting funding from social media corporations and instead invest directly in youth content creators to engage their networks on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other youth-centered social media platforms.

Storytelling

ACE harnesses the power of storytelling to humanize the impacts of climate change, inspire solutions to the climate emergency and illustrate the benefits of the clean energy transition. We generate dozens of stories annually sourced from communities across the country lifting up the voices of those at the forefront of climate impacts and solutions.

Research

ACE’s in-house research and experimentation team routinely evaluates our programs to measure impact. Over the last decade, we have continually tested and refined our approach, and have successfully built a set of program offerings that blend cost-efficiency, rigor, scale, and measurable impact. We use a mixed-methods approach, combining robust qualitative and quantitative tactics to determine the best messages and strategies to achieve greatest impact.
