Walker LivingstonĀ
Action Fellow
North Carolina
Walker attends East Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, NC. Climate change is important to her because she believes there is a frightening level of apathy about our planet and our future in our communities. She is passionate about climate justice and wants to encourage youth action in activism and the political process. Walker believes that acknowledging the injustices that environmental racism and corporate and political structures have done to humanity is key in making climate change an accessible issue to all people, most importantly our youth. Walker is looking forward to making strong connections and having important conversations about climate justice with her peers! Walker is also active in Model UN, competitive gymnastics, and in other activist organizations like March for Our Lives. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends.
