Tiffanie Lee
Action Fellow
North Carolina
Tiffanie Lee attends Green Hope High School, in Cary, North Carolina. She became involved in the ACE Fellowship because she wanted to protect the planet for future generations through advocacy and making a positive impact in the community. Tiffanie believes that climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing the world today and that if society does not quickly adopt more sustainable practices and take immediate action, then the negative effects of climate change will only increase in frequency and severity in the years to come. She became interested in environmental activism after seeing the impact of global warming on the gradual shrinking of glaciers during a trip to Alaska and competing in Envirothon.
Tiffanie enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the world on hikes, or through her camera. She volunteers around her community and is passionate about furthering and sharing her love for science through her leadership with the Young Women In Bio and SWENext branches at her school, in addition to her involvement with Science Olympiad and other projects related to science, mathematics, and business. She is looking forward to a productive year as an ACE Action Fellow!
