Taylor is a tenth grade student who attends Carrboro High School. Taylor cares about climate change because she recognizes that climate change is a global issue that will affect everyone. Although there are many issues in the world in which she can devote her time, she realized that, without a world for people to live on, the other issues would be obsolete.
One thing Taylor has done to fight climate change thus far is co-found the Environmental Science Club at her school as a freshman student. The club currently has 45 members. They have revamped their school’s recycling program and have now started a composting program. In her free time, she likes to play golf, lacrosse, and basketball.
