Nina is the Development Associate at ACE, providing support to the fundraising team through calendar management, gift processing, and special projects. She is based in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas on the ancestral lands of the Lipan Apache peoples.

Before joining ACE, she previously spent over a decade in New York City working across various types of nonprofit landscapes. She began her career at the American Museum of Natural History, working in the Membership and Development Department. There, she found her niche in fundraising administration activities while maintaining strong favor for the Museum’s mission of scientific research and education. She found another opportunity for growth at the Manhattan School of Music in the Advancement Department, where she expanded her database management skills within another environment for education, this time at the University level. Most recently, she worked as the Financial Operations Coordinator at City Harvest, NYC’s largest food rescue organization and provider of nutrition education to underprivileged communities.

Nina’s 8 years of experience in nonprofit work within varying educational spaces is essential to ACE’s quickly expanding global reach. She provides valuable aid to the Development team at ACE, bringing with her an expertise in fundraising operations and a passion for climate justice.

Nina received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and History from the City University of New York – Queens College in Flushing. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, playing music with her partner, and spending couch time with her bull terrier puppy.
