Nicole has lived in San Jose, California her whole life. She was always interested in caring for the oceans and animals as a child and decided to be a vegetarian in 5th grade. Nicole cares about climate change because she loves nature and wants to protect it and all the animals that depend on nature for their homes. She knows that humankind has a responsibility to the Earth to protect it and repair the damage that our mistakes have already created.

As a junior at Notre Dame High School, Nicole is involved in multiple leadership groups and the environmental club. In addition to her love for nature, she enjoys dancing, playing guitar, singing in choirs, performing in musicals, and kayaking on any body of water she can find. Nicole also loves tutoring and teaching others, whether they are friends or local elementary schoolers.
