Meridith Adams is a resident of Morganton, North Carolina. She is a senior at Burke Middle College. Meridith cares about climate change because it is going to affect all of us. She started working on the issue of climate change when she was in the third grade. As a third grader, she started a campaign to protect the bee populations. Since that time, she has started two separate environmental clubs at her past schools and has been working with ACE since she was in the ninth grade. Other amazing things Meridith has done thus far to fight climate change are to attend Power Shift with ACE, create DOT campaigns at her school, attend ACE Youth Action Labs, help plan the North Carolina Climate Justice Summit, and give a short speech at a community meeting for Repower Our Schools. Meridith loves ACE and thinks it is an amazing organization. In her free time, Meridith loves baking, decorating, writing, painting, sculpting, landscaping, reading, comic books, wearing costumes, and watching the TV show, Once Upon A Time.
