Kelia is 16 years old and from Plant City Fl. She is an upcoming junior at Strawberry Crest High School and is apart of the Speech and debate club and in her schools international baccalaureate program. Ever since she was young she can remember feeling passionately towards climate change which was furthered even more by her decision to go Vegan at 13. Thereafter, knowing she has the ability to make a difference, she’s set out to do so.While being with the fellowship she intends on working to bring more awareness, ways in which young people can start making a difference themselves, and educate on the hypothetical consequences if young people neglect the issue.Her passion for the issue stems mainly from the political and policy aspect of climate change and aspirations to make an impact in this area.In the fellowship she hopes to work towards this goal as well as the ones aforementioned and is most excited about learning from and getting to know so many inspiring individuals!
