Jessica Wang

2016-2017 Action Fellow

Greater Boston Area

Jessica is a sophomore at Belmont High School who has always been interested in climate change and the environment.

Through the Action Fellowship, she is excited to join forces with other young people who love and care about the environment and want to take action to protect it.

Jessica hopes to raise awareness of climate change and to help educate more people about the importance of helping our earth. She feels it is extremely important for young people to be involved because our generation will have to face the impacts of climate change. One of Jessica’s goals is to let more people know about the seriousness of climate change and how it can be fought by making small changes to our habits.

In her free time, she volunteers at the ASD Climber Foundation to help children with autism. She is also a member of the environmental club and captain of the Guitar Club at her school.
