Emerson is a senior at Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida. She enjoys playing piano, and plays cello in her school orchestra, Park Philharmonic. In her free time, she likes visiting art museums and playing with her dog, Piper. After watching time-lapse footage capturing the deterioration of glaciers in Alaska due to trapping of atmospheric greenhouse gases, she was determined to advocate for the preservation of our environment by joining ACE’s Fellowship Program. 

Her main goal is to prevent the irreversible destruction of Earth’s continents and ecosystems, along with supporting endangered species. Her love of futuristic science fiction provides her extra motivation to tackle carbon emissions and rising sea levels so that we, as a planet and as a people, can continue on well into the centuries ahead of us.
