Caroline Hallee
Action Fellow Alumni
San Francisco Bay Area
Caroline Hallee is a 16-year-old living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She currently is a juniorĀ attending Castilleja High School, where she is a co-leader of the Outdoor Education club.
While she is passionate about conserving the environment, she wants to be more than a concerned citizen. This summer Caroline completed a program on environmental leadership and sustainability at UCSD/Scripps. She also completed the Climate Reality Project training in Houston and will be working on community initiatives throughout the upcoming year.
Caroline was inspired to become an Action Fellow when ACE came to speak at her school during Global Week. There, she was exposed to a community of optimistic environmentalists from all walks of life. She is excited to be given the opportunity to join this movement and have a platform through which to create meaningful change. She believes that climate change is the single most important challenge her generation will face and hopes to study environmental policy in college in order to expand her knowledge about the complex social aspects of the issue.
In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, surfing, playing guitar, skiing, photography, and writing.
