Bailey Recktenwald
Action Fellow Alumni
North Carolina
Bailey is a resident of Durham, NC and a twelfth grade student at Riverside High School. Bailey cares about climate change because she knows that apathy does not create solutions. She realizes that climate change puts millions of species, ecosystems and people around the world at risk. She understands that climate change will directly affect people every day, particularly minority and poverty stricken communities more than others. An amazing action that Bailey has taken so far to fight climate change is she helped to organize North Carolina’s first Climate Justice Summit!
Other interests of Bailey are the outdoors, Netflix and her huggable Saint Bernard, Claire. She also loves drawing and making crafts.
