Aryaana Khan
Youth Fundraising Advisory Board
New York
Aryaana Khan was born and raised in Bangladesh, a country submerged underwater every year as a result of climate change. Four years after moving to New York, she began doing climate advocacy work with various non-profit organizations, and became involved with ACE as an ACE Action Fellow and the New York City Communications Fellow. She has remained involved with ACE. In 2018, she led a youth climate retreat in the Adirondack Mountains with leaders across New York State, traveled to San Francisco to interview high-level attendees at the Global Climate Action Summit, and joined the Youth Fundraising Advisory Board. Outside of ACE, Aryaana has done intersectional work with workers’ justice, community displacement, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, and environmental health. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Biology with a minor in Sociology, and hopes to continue working at the intersections of science, environmental inequity, and climate change.
