Arjun Keshava from Cary, NC is a tenth grader attending Wake Early College of Health and Sciences High School. His passion for the environment started early in elementary school where he was the leader of the recycling club. He gathered students and advised them about the importance of recycling. He was also a member of EcoWarriors club. He has attended workshops by the Environmental Protection Agency to understand the effects of climate change. He relentlessly volunteers in the community and advises about the significance of renewable and alternate energy.
In addition, Arjun is the president of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), vice president of the Science Olympiad team, and Key Club officer. He has competed at state and national levels in Science Olympiad and HOSA, respectively. He has over 700 hours of community service. He is a Red Cross certified lifeguard, a master scuba diver, rescue diver, and a 3rd degree black belt in martial arts.
He is currently an ACE Action Fellow and is looking forward to understanding the benefits of sustainability and inspiring other youth to promote environmental awareness.
