Atlanta
Ambar Ashraf was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She is a 9th grader at Chamblee Charter High School. Outside of working on climate change issues, Ambar enjoys yoga, painting, writing, and guitar. Ambar was first introduced to climate change after watching an ACE Assembly at her school. Since that time, Ambar has been making everyday changes in her life and spreading awareness about the pressing issue of climate change to her friends and family. Ambar cares about climate change because she believes if we do not make a difference, we will suffer from the effects of climate change. Ultimately, she believes it is up to us to change what could potentially happen as a result of climate change.
