On Saturday, I got the chance to hang out with some awesome kids at Turner Volunteer Day! The Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper organized a day of service for Turner employees to come out and clean the river–Atlanta’s primary water source. While there, me and some pretty precocious kiddos made a DOT (Do One Thing) Eco-mural.

They had awesome DOTs like taking shorter showers, turning off the lights, and recycling! They even brought their parents over and asked them to pick a DOT! You can choose your own DOT here!

At the end of the day, we were all covered in paint and a purposeful resolve to protect the Chattahoochee by our combined DOT commitments.

If you are inspired by their DOT eco-mural – I challenge you to do one at your school! You can download an easy guide here: https://acespace.org/dot/eco-mural

Special thanks to Ato Ribeiro from Morehouse College for dedicating his time and talent to sketch the mural.
