This Saturday at 8:30pm, the world will send a powerful message to our leaders that climate change must be dealt with A.S.A.P.! You can help send this message on Saturday by turning off non-essential lighting for one hour and joining in on Earth Hour!

During Earth Hour people across the globe will show their support for lasting action to protect Earth’s natural resources, environment and climate, now and into the future.

Last year, Earth Hour was a HUGE success! Over 4,100 cities in 87 countries on seven continents switched off their lights – this movement was so massive you could see it from space! Here’s how you can get in on the climate-stopping action this weekend:

Sign up at EarthHour.org
Show your support, find out what Earth Hour events are happening near you and get tips on organizing fun events in your community.
Spread the Word: Invite your friends and family to join too! Post a link to EarthHour.org on your Facebook profile page on Saturday.
Turn off the lights:Remember to turn off your lights at 8:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, March 27.

Material from this post gathered from Roots and Shoots. Learn more about Earth Hour at www.EarthHour.org.
