Here’s to a Green 2012

In the days surrounding a new year you hear this phrase all the time, “what are your new years resolutions?” You probably get a few generic answers, such as: eating healthier, getting more sleep, not falling asleep in physics class… zzzzz. Oh sorry, I fell asleep just thinking about those typical resolutions.
Why not resolve to do something that’s fun, helpful for the environment and great for yourself all in one? This year, make your New Year’s Resolution to go green.
While that may seem pretty darn daunting, fear not. ACE has a few suggestions for you:
Recycle. It’s seriously easy, and it helps to save tons of plastic, paper, cardboard and electronics from the landfill.
Carry a reusable water bottle and coffee mug. It saves you money, looks cool and helps keep you hydrated.
Participate in ACE’s Biggest Loser: Energy competition. Jose. Lose. Win. Simply turn off lights and unplug energy vampires.
Shop at vintage stores. Not only is it cheaper, but you’ll be rocking threads that nobody else has. Now that’s cool.
Check out even more ideas here.
