ACE attracted some media attention after the unveiling of the updated Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
ACE is excited about NGSS, especially the inclusion of climate change in the standards – it’s a huge step forward for science education in the U.S. For the first time, these standards explicitly address human-caused climate change as well as human solutions. Students have a right to know about climate change and this is the perfect opportunity to improve their understanding of this key subject.
