Which Team Turned Down Some Serious CO2 in the East?
Amanda Peterson
|June 28, 2012

This team beat out 10 other teams in Georgia, Washington DC and North Carolina to be that region’s winner by reducing their school’s CO2 by 8,053 and cut the school’s energy costs by $597 in 15 days across 17 classrooms.
But they didn’t stop there! They each took turns bringing the Kill-O-Watt device home, doing an energy audit for their families to cut costs and carbon dioxide wherever they could.
We couldn’t be more proud of:

Congratulations to the team, faculty sponsor Kathleen Melious and all of T. Wingate Andrews High for the regional win!
