Noble High School’s Earthweek has begun! Our preparation began with creating posters and informing the school about the events we planned.

Here are some of our dedicated workers setting up for Earthweek.

Each day of Earthweek is represented by a different color for various environmental issues:

Monday is blue for Recycling
Tuesday is Gray for Pollution
Wednesday is Green for Conservation
Thursday is Yellow for Alternative Energy
Friday is Tie Dye for Climate Change

Our Earthweek events include:

– A Trash Clean-Up day where students create trash pick up teams, and which ever team picks up the most trash win tickets to see a movie at a local theater.
– A cupcake meet and greet complete with homemade cupcakes, information on our ACE Action Team, and Tie Dying for Climate Change day.

To Kick off the Week:
To kick off Earthweek ACE Educator, Rouwenna Lamm, came to present the awesome Climate Education presentation, to the whole school.

So many students and staff came up to individuals from our club to tell us things like…
“She was great! I thought that was awesome!”
“ Wow, I learned a lot. And, in a really fun way.”
“That presentation was really impressive.”

Several students came up to us at the end of the presentation to ask how they could get involved. It was a great feeling to know that more kids wanted to get involved.

We can’t wait to get on with Earthweek! More to come at the end of it all!
