New Year’s resolutions are all the buzz right now – new year, new start. Here’s a fresh idea for you – Do One Thing (DOT) for the environment.

We’ve got a New Year’s DOT contest for you – a chance to win $150 and some fame.

We want to hear your new DOTs for 2011 – in video form.

Here’s how to win:

1) Record a 30 second video about your DOT for 2011. Bonus points for inspiration and fun
2) Send a link to your video to [email protected]
3) We’ll post it on ACE’s Facebook page
4) You get your friends to ‘like’ it on Facebook

The two videos with the most likes by Jan. 18 win $150.

My New Year’s DOT is to take power showers – rocking out to my favorite tunes while taking a 5-minute-maximum shower.

I don’t know if you’ve seen me recently, but I’m a pretty big dude with relatively long hair (picture–>). So, this might represent a serious challenge. But, I’m going to make it!
