Hey guys, Adarsha here. I’m a member of ACE’s Youth Advisory Board, and quite recently, Project Jatropha won the Presidential Environmental Youth Award (PEYA). Consequently, we got to go and meet people like the Cousteaus, Lisa Jackson, and our current POTUS, Barack Obama. It was as awesome as it sounds, and I even got to shake his hand and get complimented for bringing a handkerchief (unrelated but still). 9 other regions of the US also had winners chosen and all the projects shown were very impressive. Meeting the president was quite an honor, and to accompany this post is the picture with Obama and Lisa Jackson.
