Amber graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. She also graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, and she is a certified teacher.

Amber began her career working as a radio personality, then found her true purpose: empowering youth to find their own powerful voices. In 2010, Amber started her own company traveling across the country doing motivational speaking and goal-setting workshops for organizations like Boys and Girls Club of America, CNN, and local school districts.

In 2011, Amber found her current home with ACE. To date, Amber has educated more than 45,000 students in the State of Georgia and managed over 75 climate action projects. Amber co-managed the Youth Digital Media and Storytelling Hub at the 2013 National Powershift Conference, facilitated a Youth Media Training on climate solutions at the CNN headquarters in Atlanta, and in 2014, she and students from Dekalb School of the Arts produced an original song called Planet Savers, which has inspired thousands of students at ACE Assemblies nationwide.

In Amber’s free time she enjoys traveling, playing on a competitive women’s kickball team, and spending time with family.

Amber lives by the motto, “Friend, the only limits on your life are the limits in your mind.”
