Jaime is ACE’s Head of Philanthropy. Based in Miami, FL he leads ACE’s fundraising efforts and guides the donor engagement strategy for the organization through a thoughtful combination of data-driven development strategies and inspirational giving practices. He is committed to cultivating a culture of philanthropy at ACE, where donors are embraced as meaningful members of the climate justice movement.
Jaime joined the ACE team in 2021, with over 15 years of fundraising experience inspiring philanthropists to create positive, sustainable change in local communities and across the globe. Prior to his role at ACE, Jaime advanced educational equity as Development Director of the Miami Dade College Foundation, raising funds for student scholarships and programs at the nation’s largest higher education institutions primarily serving minority students. He also previously served as Director of Corporate Relations at the Peréz Art Museum, Miami’s flagship art museum; and as Executive Director of OUT Miami Foundation, Miami’s LGBTQ community foundation.
He holds a Masters in Public Administration degree with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Florida State University, and has earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification– the only accredited, globally recognized certification for fundraising professionals.
Jaime is a passionate tennis fan and enjoys hitting the open road on his bike and soaking in chill beach vibes. He loves spending quality time with his two cute chihuahuas Tequila and Shakira, as well as his adorable niece Sofia and nephew Kai.
