Nico is a Digital Media Producer based in Claremont, California—about two podcast episodes away from Los Angeles. In this role, he ideates and produces short-form video content shared across ACE’s social media channels, collaging the stories, science and news about the vast and worsening threat of the climate emergency. His focus is to uplift young people while providing resources to help equip our generation with the tools necessary to fight against climate inaction.

He has a B.A. in Sociology from American University concentrating in social inequities and systems of power. Before working for ACE, he worked as an Engagement Intern for The Climate Reality Project where he is most proud of organizing a webinar on Indigenous Leadership within the climate movement, featuring many Indigenous climate speakers. Nico is committed to joining the work to reimagine climate work as one centered around the people currently facing the worst of climate catastrophe and officials’ inadequacy.

In his free time, Nico enjoys spending time in good company, playing music, winding down with a movie or book, exploring new places and playing board games.  He is excited to continue working with ACE to help amplify stories that spark change.
