Christopher Piszczek

Civic Engagement Manager

As ACE’s Lead Democracy Organizer in Wisconsin, Christopher Piszczek works to educate and empower young people to take action on climate change. Through implementation of ACE’s “Our Climate Our Future” climate education program, and strategic voter registration and GOTV efforts, Cristo raises awareness on the impacts of climate change and supports the youth leading the climate justice movement.

Based out of Milwaukee, WI, where he was born and raised, Cristo first got involved in justice work as a high school student, organizing with his community around immigrant and worker rights. Although he is new the environmental justice field, Cristo brings over 10 years of experience in community organizing and the non profit sector having worked for the ACLU of Wisconsin, United Way, and Public Allies Milwaukee in different roles that all focused on equity, education, community, and justice, especially for our young people.

Cristo is guided by his deep love for his community and desire to dismantle oppressive structures. He is an emcee, and cofounder of the award winning rap duo “Browns Crew”. His formal training ranges across sociology, audio production, and carpentry; and his life training has taught him resilience, the power of community, and the healing properties of art.
