Lizzy Pyle

Action Fellow Alumni

San Francisco Bay Area

Lizzy Pyle is currently a senior at Half Moon Bay High School with her sights set high. She participates in her school’s student government, mock trial team, water polo, swimming, 6th man club and spring musical, while also being president of her school’s chapter of Interact club and the Bay Area region 5150’s Lieutenant Governor. In her spare time she also volunteers with youth leadership programs to encourage the youth to reach their full potential and develop into young leaders, as she did when she attended the World Leadership Congress in 2015.

Lizzy also has a burning passion for helping the environment, specifically reducing plastic waste and increasing energy conservation. Her goal is to bring her leadership and communication skills into the ACE program to make a large impact on environmental issues in the Bay Area. Lizzy believes that Millennials have the power and motivation to create solutions to climate change and make a lasting positive impact, but may not be well-enough informed on ways they can help. With encouragement, education and opportunity, change is possible. The ACE Action Fellowship will give Lizzy the support and skills she needs to be part of the solution.
