Ava Sullivan

2016-2017 Action Fellow

San Francisco Bay Area

Ava is from San Francisco and is currently a sophomore at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. She cares deeply about climate change and wants to be a part of creating a better world. Growing up, Ava was immersed in the outdoors because she lives near the historic Golden Gate Park. Her father loves to take her family out on walks and loves to explore nature. She shares this love and appreciation for nature with her father. She grew up going camping and learned to love and respect the earth. This passion drives Ava to be part of the ACE Action Fellowship and to advocate for climate solutions and environmental conservation.

Outside of school, Ava loves to participate in the performing arts and has a passion for singing and dancing. She also enjoys speech and public speaking. She spends a majority of her time volunteering at the SFSPCA with dogs and puppies, and first became interested in climate change when ACE presented at her school. She cannot wait for the fun year to come, to meet other likeminded young people, and to make an impact on climate change in her local community.
