By Darrell Grant, ACE Educator – Houston

Hello world!  We know the internet can be a little anonymous, so I’m going to be telling some ACE stories over the next few weeks.  Below is the skinny on who the ACE Houston team is, and where we come from.

Plus, we’ve been getting a little paparazzi at our assemblies and we’ve got some great pics to share from some of our latest adventures. You can check ’em all out on our Flickr page.

AJ Sheppard, lead educator of the Houston team, has years of teaching experience.  He brings the professionalism and patience needed to communicate with high school students.  AJ also has an athletic background which helps him drive the team in the right direction.

Fei Ji, the second piece of the Houston puzzle also has experience in the classroom.  She has a B.S. in Chemical Biology, and makes sure that the scientific facts in our presentations are appropriate for the Texas region.

And, oh me?  I’m Darrell Grant. Teaching and performing theatre has enabled me to bring a certain performance quality to the climate science assemblies.

So we have a connection that stretches beyond the typical co-worker relationship.  Our friendship continues to grow as we inspire, educate, and empower students in the fight against global warming.  There’s only one more thing to say… “All for one, and one for all!”
