The DeKalb School of the Arts Broadcast Media students began the year with a new attitude on media and a new outlook on climate change. This year they decided to incorporate a school news segment on climate change during each school wide news broadcast. They started the year with a crowd sourcing segment to find out how much their classmates and teachers knew about climate change. Their answers may surprise you!

Don’t be too quick to put away those summer clothes. Summer is over and we are about a month into Fall, but things aren’t cooling off just yet in Atlanta. This fall we have been experiencing temperatures in the 70’s – mid 80’s. This isn’t a coincidence, but it’s a result of climate change. Our climate has been ever changing and within the last few years and we have been experiencing warmer fall weather and milder winters making it more difficult to decide what to wear to school. This fall fashion segment will have you prepared to rock the latest trends despite the impacts that climate change has had on fall our temperatures in Atlanta.
