December 8, 2009

Well, you can still join youth who are over in Copenhagen fighting for our voices to be heard. There is some sweet video-conference technology (kind of like what was used for the Youth Clean Energy Forum at the White House last week!) that will be used to bring youth together from around the world!  And, you can be a part of it. Here’s how:

This week and next, four internet meetings will join international youth over in Copenhagen with youth from 62 countries around the world in virtual meetings.

The fate of our planet is at stake, can you make it?! Here’s how you can tune in!

    1. Go to http://omni.coursenligne.net/moussasinon
    1. Enter a user name you make up (e.g. “Steve_USA”, “Rose_California”)

That’s it. You are in!

Last thing: sign in during any of these time slots to join youth from all over the world!

When: Tuesday, December 8, 2009 – that’s TODAY!  7:00-8:30 Pacific Time (that’s 10pm east coast)
What: YOUTH PERSPECTIVES on the UN climate negotiations – What are the issues, and why do they matter?

When: Wednesday, December 9 – TOMORROW! 3:15-4:45 Pacific Time (that’s 7:15pm east coast)
What: Climate change and children: Just victims, or protagonists for change?

When: Friday, December 11 7:00-8:30 pm Pacific Time (that’s 10:00pm east coast)
What: Wrap up of the first week of climate negotiations! Definitely tune into this one if you can – will be sure to sum it all up!

When: December 18 7:00-8:30 pm Pacific Time (that’s 10:00pm east coast)
What: ROUNDTABLE: Youth action and our common future
