In the small town of Sebastopol, you will find a group of students who are up to big things. The Eco Action Club at Analy High School has emerged as a force for carbon-cutting change.
During the past few months, the Eco Action Team has carried out a number of initiatives on Analy High School’s campus making the school more sustainable and the student body more aware of climate change.
One of the Eco Action Team’s most impressive projects was organizing a county-wide clean energy event called the Youth Energy Summit. The event, which drew local media attention, brought together over 100 community members and a number of local environmental organization.
