On Sunday, April 21st, 2013, diverse climate-driven youth leaders from across Los Angeles County will Spring Into Action and lead a peaceful demonstration at CicLAvia. They will deliver a message to City Hall that states LAUSD should adopt and integrate a mandatory Climate Action Plan. The students’ aim is to amplify their mission to establish sustainable campuses throughout LA, while assisting the county and the state of CA to meet their waste and energy reduction goals.

By attending CicLAvia, ACE youth leaders are given the opportunity to speak their values into action at an emissions-free event. Participation in civic opportunities like CicLAvia is the first step in inciting the cultural shift and tangible change we need to make Los Angeles a leader in the climate and waste-free movement!
