Most Americas don’t make time to cook breakfast, let alone eat breakfast. If you’re like me, it’s because I try to squeeze every second out of my alarm before I get up. I fully understand the importance of starting the day off with breakfast, but I just don’t want to wake up. This is why I drink my breakfast. Smoothies are a quick, healthy way to have breakfast, especially for people who are on the move and love to sleep.
Here’s my favorite morning smoothie recipe:
Ingredients – servings 2
2 cups spinach
1 orange, peeled and de-seeded
1 banana
6-7 strawberries
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 cup of ice
Directions:
– Put all the ingredients in blender. Puree until smooth.
– Pour into a glass. Drink. Enjoy. Yum!
– Pour extra into air tight container. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
– Enjoy the next day or share it with a friend.
