Over the next month, ACE will run a series of blogs called Less Meat March. During this series you can expect to hear different perspectives, get yummy recipes, and be challenged to eat a little less meat. We aren’t telling you become vegetarian or vegan, but we are encouraging you think about how your food choices impact the climate.

If you’re like me giving up meat sounds enormously difficult. I love bacon. It’s my weakness. I’m from Oklahoma where the slogan “Beef. It’s what’s for dinner” rings true, but it’s also what’s for breakfast and lunch. To be honest, I have always been curious about vegetarianism, which is why this month I’m going meat-free. It’s extreme, I know. I’m not sure I can last the entire month. I’m already wondering how I’m going to feel through out the day or if I’m going to be constantly hungry. Going cold turkey won’t be easy, but I’m up for the challenge, and I will report on my journey at the end of the month. Stay tuned.

Not ready to go meat-free for an entire month then find out which DOT works best for you:
