ACE Action Teams Get Busy

Last spring, ACE Action Teams were extremely busy. In fact, this was the busiest season ever for ACE Action Teams, all across the country teams completed a whopping 316 projects. That’s pretty incredible!

Here’s a recap of the awesome projects:

Norcal: The Reed High Eco Warriors installed low-flush toilets to save their school over $4,000 a year.

SoCal: Rosemead High School recycles every single friday, earning some mad cash for their Action Team.

Colorado: Greeley High School had a locker clean out. saving 20 bins of recycling from getting dumped in the trash. Not only that, they implemented single stream recycling in their school.

Chicago: Hubbard High School hosted Project Greenway, an eco-fashion show with 11 other schools.

New England: Chelsea High School banned Styrofoam from their cafeteria.

New York: Students at the Life Academy at Lafayette High School did a beach clean up at Coney Island, collecting 2,000 pounds of trash.

Atlanta: Woodstock High School threw a solar powered concert with 8 bands. They played to 300 students and didn’t emit a single pound of carbon.
