ACE + POW = WOW!

This past week ACE New England teamed up with Protect Our Winters (with support from The North Face) to bring you Hot Planet/Cool Athletes — a special program where the world’s top professional skiers join ACE Educators to discuss the impact climate change is having on mountain communities and economies.
Now when I say the world’s top professional skiers, I’m not messing around. Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Dylan Hood, Nick Martini are the real deal. Don’t believe me? Check this out:

With the help of these athletes, ACE and POW were able to inspire over 1400 students to save both our snow and our planet at South Burlington High School in Vermont, Turners Falls High School in Massachusetts and Nashua North High School in New Hampshire.
But that isn’t it for the season. Stay tuned for more Hot Planet/Cool Athletes presentations coming up this February in Utah and Wyoming!
And remember, even if a professional skier doesn’t come to your high school this year, you can still play a major part in saving our slopes. Pick a DOT and join your school’s Action Team — that’s how can can start having an impact today!
