Adopt a Mile
We cleaned a mile of the street location of our school(Favor road).
Steps:
-A member told me the idea at our first meeting; he is also a member of "Octagon Club." He said they were going to be cleaning a mile.
-I told the group and they said they were interested.
-I spoke to Octagon Club's sponsor, Ms. Grenliski.
-She gave me permission to get people to join them.
-She also gave me a permission slip to hand out to students under 18, because we were going to work on the streets.
-I posted the project on our Facebook page to remind everyone.
-December 8, 2011 was the day of Project.
-An abundant amount of students showed up, so we split up in groups to divide the work.
